Defender from the Dark

Clearing & Protecting Aura Spray

In response to a perceived global energetic challenge, this orchid called out to be made into an essence in early October 2010. The second part of the botanical name Pleurothallis phalangHealing Orchids Switzerlanda translates as "phalanx-bearing" meaning the orchid spike looks like it is carrying a small phalanx of soldiers. A dream-time image which came to Don repeatedly one night about this essence was of hundreds of elves with their bows on their shoulders, marshalling their forces, preparing for battle. And indeed the orchid looks reminiscent of that Tolkien-like image. There is a sense with this orchid that, while it knows the dark, it is not of the dark. Embodying deep goodness of being, it is nevertheless not naive about the threat posed at times by dark forces. There is an old adage in American football, that the "best defense is a good offense"; this essence provides both clearing of and protection from high levels of dark energies through its determined opposition to their intentions.

Shadow Defense is a combination of 3 essences: Defender from the Dark, Pushing Back the Night and Shadow Warrior. The latter helps us to not have our shadow side be dominant in our daily life, whilst Pushing Back the Night brings a powerful temple of energetic support to this process through strengthening & heightening our inner alignment. Defender from the Dark provides protection to this inner process, preventing exterior dark influences from interfering. In other words, this essence combination provides us with protection against both inner and outer shadow elements.

If further support is found to be needed, then Spike Thorn from the Platbos African Tree Essence range is highly recommended.

Defender from the Dark Series Combinations

An exceptional aspect of Defender from the Dark is that immediately upon making, it made clear to us that it wanted to be combined with several other essences. Rather than the one-size-fits-all approach, this essence wanted a mini-series of Defender combinations to come into being, to enable people to fine-tune the best type of protection they or a client might need. Each of these combinations are now also available as aura sprays, but instead of having a separate label for each of the sorts of sprays, we are making use of a subtle feature which has been added to a corner of the Defender from the Dark spray labels.

In the upper right hand corner of the Defender from the Dark label (near the Batch No.) you will find the letters V L P C S. These are only meaningful when one of them is circled. While we did make a "proper" label for Shadow Defense, the other 5 Defender Series combinations are represented by these letters.

V = Vital Core added to the Defender from the Dark spray, which creates Vital Defense aura spray

L = Violacea Veritas added to the Defender from the Dark spray, which creates Defender of the Light aura spray

P = Protective Presence added to the Defender from the Dark spray, which creates the Defend & Protect aura spray

C = Celestial Siren added to the Defender from the Dark spray, which creates Celestial Defender aura spray

S = Source of Life added to the Defender from the Dark spray, which creates Defender of the Source aura spray

Here is what our Defender from the Dark aura spray label looks like, and in one corner (pink arrow pointing) you will see the letters V L P C S.

When you order one of these Defender Series aura sprays, the label will be either the pale blue one as you see above, or the pale beige one (indicating that the oils used are Sandalwood, Leleshwa and Atlas Cedarwood). One of the 5 letters will be circled, and the other 4 crossed out. This will only be done if you are ordering one of the 5 Defender Series combination sprays; if you are ordering Defender from the Dark then there will be no marks on the V L P C S lettering.

So for example, if you order the Vital Defense spray, that end of the label will look something like this:

Furthermore, if you order a bottle of the Defender from the Dark spray, and wish to convert it into one of the Defender Series combination sprays, then you can do so by adding 27 drops of the stock essence of one of the 5 orchid essences which help create the Defender Series. You can then circle the appropriate letter, as a reminder to yourself that this has been done. Therapists can do this for clients as well, so the one label has this flexibility built into it.
